The airport of Lanzarote will soon change its name and will be called Cesar Manrique, which has been demanded by residents for some time. The news was announced by the Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, and the President of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo.
Angel Victor Torres, leader of PSOE, said “This is great news that Pedro Sanchez has passed to Fernando Clavijo at their meeting in Madrid this week.
At present, there is no confirmation about when the name of Lanzarote Airport will change, as Torres told the press that this was announced in a telephone call after the meeting with the Pedro Sanchez and Clavijo.
