This week the Government of Tenerife presented a new campaign to raise awareness of students for the importance of tourism.
This campaign includes training for primary and secondary students on the importance of the tourism sector, and 500 ambassadors have been appointed to promote the destination.
The motto of this campaign is ‘I Am Tenerife’ and a song has been composed by a local group ‘Nada en los Bolsillos’ (Nothing in the Pockets), as well as a promotional video of the landscape of the island.
The initiative is completed with the signing of a manifesto, so that whoever wishes can be part of the campaign.
