The 2019 Budget for Fuerteventura will mean an increase of over 6 million euros, and the Government wants to invest this additional money in several sectors.
This increase in funding means that the Government of Fuerteventura can ensure investments in health and roads are consolidated, such as the continuation of the north-south axis road and educational priorities. Construction works are also proposed, such as the extension of the Corralejo wharf.
The Government of Fuerteventura said “This new increased budget will help us to continue to solve the problems and challenges that we have faced, and turn these into benefits for both the population of Fuerteventura, and the thousands of visitors that choose this island for their holidays every year.”
