Gran Canaria Flight to Denmark Had Cabin Pressure Problems

Gran Canaria Flight to Denmark Had Cabin Pressure ProblemsThis week a flight that left Gran Canaria Airport with a destination of Billund in Denmark was forced to return within a few minutes of take-off. The pilot advised the control tower at the airport that there were indications of possible problems with the cabin pressurisation system.

It was reported that the plane was instructed to burn off a large amount of its fuel to reduce its weight before attempting to land. The pilot of the Denmark bound plane then flew to the south of Gran Canaria on circular routes for around 75 minutes.

The Twitter account of Gran Canaria Air Traffic Controllers issued a statement that said the plane landed without incident.
