​Cyclist in Tenerife Rescued After Dangerous Descent Attempt

Cyclist in Tenerife Rescued After Dangerous Descent AttemptEmergency teams from Santa Cruz de Tenerife rescued a cyclist who had been lost for many hours in the Barranco del Cercado in Anaga. He was found in the early hours of the morning after emergency services worked through the night to rescue him.

The cyclist had travelled through Anaga, but had attempted a prohibited activity of descent by bike along the paths of Anaga, and ended up trapped in a very treacherous area, and showed symptoms of hypothermia.

Police reported that his physical condition was good, and confirmed he was 23 year of age. Friends of the cyclist also helped in the rescue attempt.
