Over the next five months, 41 young people from Tenerife will take work placements in Senegal, Cape Verde or Morocco and have already set off on their journeys.
The objective is to improve the training of these young people who have studied tourism, culture, engineering or food.
These work placements will be carried out in companies, public administrations and non-governmental organisations.
They will each receive aid of 500 euros per month from the Africa Scholarship Programme, which has already allowed 104 young graduates to expand their knowledge outside the Canary Islands.
