The commissioning of the final section of the La Caldereta to Corralejo road, a fundamental infrastructure on the north-south axis of Fuerteventura, of 6 kilometres between the Lajares junction and the Corralejo roundabout, was attended by Pablo Rodriquez, Vice President of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport reported that the commissioning of this section concludes a project that has been key to Fuerteventura, because, in addition to being able to have a convenient and safe route, the island is now has better communication.
This road project, which cost around 65.94 million euros, is described by the Vice President as one of the most important infrastructures for the economic and social development of Fuerteventura by connecting Corralejo with the capital and the airport with a high capacity way.
