​Lanzarote Woman Arrested for Selling Drugs to Children

Lanzarote Woman Arrested for Selling Drugs to ChildrenThe owner of a cannabis club in Arrecife in Lanzarote that is based close to several schools has been arrested, and accused of selling drugs to anyone, including children, in an operation that involved many kilos of marijuana.

Agents of the Policia Nacional collaborated closely with the Policia Local in Arrecife, and report that 3,130 grams and 18 marijuana plats, 45 grams of hashish and 2,155 euros were seized.

Anonymous information about what had been taking place at the cannabis club was passed to the police, which led to their investigations into the activities. Police report that the property was visited by numerous adults and children to buy and consume narcotic substances.

After a search order was granted, the police entered the property, and after seizing the drugs and cash, they arrested a 33-year-old woman with no criminal record, who is accused of a crime against public health.
