A UK tourist left a Playa del Ingles bar late at night, but was attacked by a robber who hit him on the head, and stole his wallet containing credit cards and cash, as well as personal documents. However, this vicious attack left the victim with a gaping wound.
The tourist recovered and returned to his hotel and reported the incident to the receptionist, who called the police and ambulance. The victim later needed several stitches for his head wound and he returned to his hotel in Playa del Ingles.
The police report that a 20-year-old Moroccan man was later found and arrested for this robbery with violence.
