Christmas, New Year and Kings Day Celebrations have now finally come to an end in the Canary Islands, and tourists are beginning to return home with their families. Since 22 December 2017 around 20,500 flights arrived at various airports across the Canary Islands, which transported over three million passengers for the holiday season.
This last weekend saw a huge increase in air traffic passengers at airports as tourists returned home, students returning to the peninsular to continue their studies after their Christmas break with their families, and families returning home as school restarted on Monday.
