Fuerteventura Technology Park Innovation Project

The Ministry of Economy, Industry, Trade and Knowledge of the Canary Islands Government and the Canarian Agency for Research, Innovation and Information Society have allocated a budget of 100,000 euros to the Fuerteventura Technology Park for an innovation project.

This project involves observation of air, land and sea activity with the use of combined types of data sources, such as satellite platforms, Air, UAV and terrestrial sensors and other data sources to design solutions for the intelligent management of data in the Canary Islands.

This initiative also aims to generate innovation that places the archipelago as a benchmark in technological innovation for observing and managing environmental data, to attract investment and to facilitate the installation of large companies in this sector for research and development. This also plans to involve local companies and should eventually create significant qualified and stable employment opportunities for the Fuerteventura.
