The city of Hermigua in La Gomera has begun the construction of four homes that will be offered with social rent to local families who are faced with a bleak economic situation. This new social housing programme involving converting an old school building that later became the municipal nursery, and the budget for this comes from FdCAN development funds.
This conversion should be completed by the start of summer with a budget of around 230,000 euros, and will provide low cost housing solutions for local families.
