The photographic exhibition called Luces del Atlantico is currently open at the Casa de Colon in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and shows life in the mid-Atlantic over the last 170 years.
This exhibition is divided into three sections of politics, society and economy, which will remain open until April.
Images provide a fascinating experience of life for local people living in the Canary Islands, as well as those who visited it, including Eva Peron who came to Gran Canaria.
The Casa de Colon is also hosting a conference on heritage management, which is being attended by professionals from Cape Verde, the Azores, Madeira and Portugal.
The Atlantic Lights photographic exhibition should attract many people to discover more about life over the last 170 years.
