This week four people were arrested at a cannabis club in Arrecife for alleged drug trafficking and after testifying before a judge, they were released without bail, but charged with committing an offence against public health linked to the alleged sale of hashish and marijuana.
The police operation called La Oveja Verde was carried out this week at the cannabis club in Arrecife and part of an ongoing anti-drug operation. In recent months, this cannabis club was located on Peñas del Chache street and had been the subject of neighbourhood complaints about the unbearable smell of marijuana, when some residents had to leave their properties.
