Futurismo 2019, the international fair for tourism professionals and entrepreneurs, took place this week in Arona in Tenerife.
Over 60 experts analysed the position of the Canary Islands as an international tourist destination for three days. On the first day, the tourism sector debated and expressed concern about holiday rentals.
Participants also exchanged experiences and opinions on the challenges and opportunities in the tourist areas of the Canary Islands, which included representatives from the tourist municipalities of Pajara, Mogan, San Bartolome de Tirajana, Adeje, Arona and Guia de Isora.
The final day focused on innovation and technological advances presented by six entrepreneurs from Tenerife to improve and innovate in this sector.
