Socialist politicians in the Municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife this week issued details of a motion to demand that the city council revises the law to use housing that is not used.
This motion challenges current measures by extending the anti-eviction protocol and urges Parliament to undertake reforms to incorporate empty housing owned by banks into social rental properties.
This proposal also requests that the budgeted items of the regional government in terms of social rent are increased.
