A cultivation of 420 marijuana plants was destroyed this week in the Municipality of La Oliva in Fuerteventura in a joint operation of the Tax Agency, Guardia Civil and Canarian Police in which two people were arrested.
The Tax Agency reported that the events were triggered after police agents identified a club where marijuana was smoked, and had no authorisation to allow this activity.
Both the club and a villa were used to prepare the cultivation of marijuana, and it is reported that 420 plants in different phases of growth, a cutting device and money in cash were seized.
The two suspects who were arrested are presumed responsible for the plantation and now wait to be summoned to court.
