Squatters in Lanzarote Occupying Property of Alzheimer’s Support Group

Squatters in Lanzarote Occupying Property of Alzheimer’s Support Group

After almost five years of being illegally occupied, the new owners of Senator Apartments in Lanzarote have now evicted all these squatters. However, these now homeless people have moved to occupy another property in Tahiche, but this is the property of the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer’s Disease of Lanzarote.

Within this property of the Alzheimer’s Support Group, three families with nine children have now claimed squatters’ rights to live there. It is reported that these families broke into the building and moved in all their belongings.

It is also reported that this week that the house is being controlled by the Policia Local, so that the Association can make the necessary procedures to evict them.
