Agents of the Policia Nacional were called this week to the Doctor Negrin Hospital in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to investigate the death of a patient who was found dead with evident signs of violence in his room.
The body was on the ground with stab wounds in his thorax and a razor was also found on the floor of the room.
The victim was a 90-year-old man who suffered multiple wounds. The police do not rule out any hypothesis at this time.
The deceased had also torn hospital probes connected to his body, and a knife was found next to the body.
There was another patient in his room, but he did not know what had happened. The body was found by health care personnel who performed nightly rounds, and it is estimated that it would have taken not more than around two hours for the victim to have died.
