This week the Canary Islands Education Infrastructure Directorate and the community of Valverde School in El Hierro met together in a meeting to discuss the alternatives of making improvements to the existing building, or to consider the construction of a new building for this school.
This has been an ongoing argument, and repairs cannot take place on the existing school building until there is general agreement about renovating the school building, or build a new school for the children of Valverde. However, if no decision can be made, both the school community and the Education Infrastructure Directorate are planning to continue discussion of the options available.
