This week, Ruta 7 involves various activities across El Hierro, such as hiking, and different sports associations have also participated.
A total of 45 university students from Ruta 7, together with technicians and members of In Corpore Sano, arrived early at the Plaza de Los Llanillos to make a nine-kilometre hike along the coast until they reached La Maceta Pool.
These students will also be involved in an environmental collaborative project and visit the Gorona del Viento.
Ruta 7 is an annual event that involves university students from all across the Canary Islands, and is intended to establish greater cooperation between all municipalities. These 45 students were the lucky ones to be chosen from many who had applied for this event that visits all the islands and ends with El Hierro.
