A 60-year-old truck driver was seriously injured this week when he was thrown from his vehicle when it overturned on the FV-30 road, in the direction of Pajara and in the Municipality of Betancuria in Fuerteventura.
The helicopter of the Emergency and Salvage Team (GES) was present at the site of the accident, and worked in collaboration with other emergency teams to rescue the injured driver.
It is reported by the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) that the injured driver was given medical aid, but as he presented severe trauma, he was then taken by helicopter to the General Hospital Fuerteventura Virgen de La Peña.
There is no further information about the health of this person.
