Body Discovered in Gran Canaria Relates to Missing Man Reported Earlier

Police report that the body discovered in the ravine in the neighbourhood of Zarate in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria corresponds to Manuel Delgado Medina, who disappeared on 31 August.

The body was discovered by local resident of Zarate, who was walking with his dog, and the found the corpse of a man in an advanced state of decomposition.

It seems that the body remained outdoors in the Barranco de Osorio, between the neighbourhood of Zarate and San Juan de Dios, in Las Palma de Gran Canaria, and in an area of difficult access.

The first hypothesis indicated that this body was that of Manuel Delgado Medina, 83 years of age, and who had been reported missing on 31 August. However, the clothing of Manuel Delgado at the time of his disappearance did not match the description of the clothing on the body of the victim.
