The first phase of the works to improve the access road to the Teide National Park from Arona has started at La Escalona and Vilafor. This is a section of five kilometres that corresponds to the one of busiest access routes to Mount Teide.
These works, which have a budget of 900,000 euros, consist of improving and upgrading the road surface.
Due to the fact that the works are being carried out during daytime hours, drivers are requested to exercise extreme caution and pay attention to signalling.
