The Fuerteventura Government Council of Tourism has just launched a new website that provide statistical data related to tourism on the island at www.fuerteventuraintel.com
Marcial Morales, President of Fuerteventura said that this information portal is another step in the provision of tourist services, and this public information site gives opportunities to plan better for all matters linked to tourism.
Blas Acosta, Minister for Tourism, said that this Internet site will become a fundamental tool for the tourist sector as it contain up-to-date information on issues like the arrival of tourists, visitor profiles and jobs.
In addition, this portal will include statistical information, reports and studies of history, evolution, situation and trends of tourist supply and demands of the island, as well as information about employment indicators in the sector, number of tourists visiting the island and for market research.
This project aims to facilitate market research work by professionals, the press, public sector workers, students, the Government and other local administrations.
