In an antidrug operation undertaken by the National Police on Gran Canaria, 20 people were arrested in Galdar for the alleged distribution of hashish across the north west coastal region of the island.
The accused were taken to Las Palmas Court this week in four police vans, and officially charged with being part of an organisation to introduce hashish on the island and across the coastal region of Galdar.
Later the accused were removed from the Court in police vehicles and still await a ruling by the judge about the next action to be taken against them.
