Officers of Policia Nacional this week arrested a 15-year-old boy in Puerto del Rosario in Fuerteventura after he tried to attack another child at a training centre, and also threatened teaching staff.
A police statement confirms that the child victim who had been attacked by the accused had locked himself inside one of the classrooms at the training centre, and that the alleged attacker had carried a large knife hidden inside his clothing.
Teaching staff at this centre called for police assistance and informed officers that this youth had accessed the interior of the classroom and threatened several teachers, as well as the child who had locked himself inside the classroom.
Police apprehended the accused attacker knocking on the door of the classroom where the student had taken refuge, and who claimed the attacked had threatened him.
The 15-year-old boy was then arrested by police as the alleged perpetrator of the crime of making serious threats and transferred to police headquarters, and the Juvenile Section of the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office of Las Palmas was the informed. This boy was later released under the custody of this mother.
