Danish Woman Dies in Motorcycle Accident in Fuerteventura

A 63-year-old Danish woman died as a result of a motorcycle accident with a 60-year-old Danish man, who was seriously injured on a road in Pajara in Fuerteventura this week.

Emergency Service responders who travelled to the scene of the accident with two ambulances could only confirm the death of the woman due to the severity of the injuries she sustained, and provided medical assistance to her companion, who was then taken to Fuerteventura General Hospital. The hospital reports that the Danish man was diagnosed with various injuries to his extremities and his head of a serious nature.

This accident was registered at around 15.00 on the FV-2 road in the municipality of Pajara. Officers of the Guardia Civil and Policia Local also attended the scene of the accident and regulated the speed of other traffic on this section of road.
