A seismic movement of 4.1 magnitude on the Richter Scale was recorded this week to the north of La Palma at around 05.00 reported by the National Geographic Institute (IGM) website.
The epicentre of this seismic movement was located on the seabed to the north of La Palma at latitude 29 degrees and 38 minutes north and longitude of 17 degrees and 48 minutes west at a depth of 19 kilometres.
The Institute also reports that this seismic movement was not noticed or reported by the population of La Palma.
