A hotel in Gran Canaria hired a carrier to deliver one hundred pillows to a charity, but the driver dumped his cargo of pillows into a ravine instead.
In the south of Gran Canaria in the ravine of Fataga, Government workers responsible for the local water supply were amazed to discover a hundred pillows dumped in the middle of this beautiful natural area, and reported this violation of fly tipping or pillow dumping to the local police.
The delivery person has now been identified by the police, and the hotel confirmed that it had itself hired this man to deliver these pillows to a charity. Workers are now clearing this environmental damage.
