A report this week by the Association of Self-Employed Workers ATA says that the Canary Islands leads the growth of self-employed people over the last decade, and ahead of other regions, such as Madrid and Andalucia.
Also, across the Canary Islands the number of self-employed women has increased by 18% in the last ten years, which breaks the myth that all entrepreneurs are men.
The profiles of these self-employed women are aged between 35 years and 45 years and are committed to certain sectors.
