A group of 11 immigrants arrived in Lanzarote this week, and were quickly detected by officers of the Guardia Civil and health personnel, who found that none had any serious health problems.
This boat is reported to have arrived in the early of the morning at Jabillo Beach in the Municipality of Teguise.
Humanitarian assistance was provided by the staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service and the Red Cross, and they report that it was not necessary to transfer any of these immigrants to health centres.
