An agreement has been signed between the Government of El Hierro and the Canary Islands Government that seals an agreement of one million euros to be spent on improving provision for elderly residents on the island.
El Hierro has three centres for elderly people, and this new investment will be used to extend the current provision for residential care for elderly residents, improving day care centres and improving the quality of life for elderly people still living in their homes.
